Mrs. J. Whitehead

I have been working at Friezland Primary School for 22 years and am a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. At present I spend a lot of time working in Class 3 but have worked in every class over the years. I have another role within school, that of Resource and Environment Team Leader. This involves working closely with other support staff and working on Health and Safety issues in school.

I am married with 2 grown up children and enjoy reading, playing sport and listening to music. Before I came to Friezland I was an accountant with Oldham MBC.

Mrs. I. Robinson

I have worked at Friezland as a Learning Support Assistant for 14 years.  I currently work between Classes 3 and 4, supporting individual pupils, groups of children and providing PPA cover.

I enjoy learning with the children and have studied, and passed, GCSE Spanish, I have completed a course on sign language and have learnt to play a brass instrument alongside pupils in Class 3.  In addition to this I have completed professional qualifications.

During my time at Friezland  I have been a Govenor and have been a member of  both the Pastoral and Teaching and Learning teams.

Outside school my interests include baking, walking and travelling.

Mrs. D. Stacey

Mrs. R. Moores

Hello, I’ve been working at Friezland for 7 years. I’m am a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, therefore I help children in all classes, but I spend most of my time in class 1 and 3.  I have a degree in Business and Human Resource Management but prefer the challenges of daily life in a busy school.

Mrs. S. Smithies

This is my fifth year working as an LSA at Friezland Primary School.  I work in class 2 in the mornings and class 1 in the afternoons.  Like Mrs Meadham I am also from the North East of England but don’t worry, Geordie is kept strictly for the staff room.  I am married with 2 wonderful children.  I enjoy most sports, reading and watching my children participate in their many sporting activities.

Mrs. S. Wrigley

I work as a teaching assistant in Class 1 and I also run the Life Channel.  I first started as a volunteer in 2010 and then became part of the Friezland team shortly after.  I have studied my Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Support Teaching and Learning as well as my Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.  At present I am studying Intermediate Spanish as part of my degree.

Mr. P. Freeman

I work as a teaching assistant in classes 4 and 3.  I enjoy reading with the children and I also run football club.  Maybe one of our pupils will be good enough to play for Liverpool one day!  I used to work for Manchester Council, but my aim is to start teacher training next year.
