Headteacher’s Welcome

It is a real privilege to welcome you to Friezland School.

We are a warm, ambitious and caring school community where children are known, valued and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves. We want every child to feel happy and safe here, but also challenged, inspired and proud of what they can achieve.

At the heart of Friezland is our mission: “A Family Committed to Making a Difference.” This is reflected in the way we learn together, care for one another and work in partnership with our families and wider community. We want our children to grow into confident, kind and resilient young people, with strong self-belief and the courage to aim high.

We have high expectations for all pupils and are committed to providing excellent teaching, a rich and engaging curriculum and the support every child needs to flourish academically and personally.

We know that children achieve their best when school and families work together, and strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers are hugely important to us.

I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher of Friezland and excited about its future. We will always look for ways to improve, while holding firmly onto the warmth, relationships and sense of belonging that make our school such a special place.
